This bird was resting peacefully on a tree when Anil spotted it and stopped the car. We got out and Anil got few nice shots. My equipment being a little on the "heavier" side, I took some time to position myself and focus on the bird. By that time, this bird got extremely conscious of our presence and took off. The shutter speed was 1/100 of the second when I took this shot and you can imagine the speed with which this bird took off. I liked the flutter effect of the wings in this image.
