Rose ringed parakeets ( Psittacula krameri )(Full frame)
This is one of the first few shots with my new lens. The sun was just out at the dawn and this bird flew past us and landed on this perch in a field. It allowed us a close approach. This was shot with minimum focussing distance, hand held. Was a thrilling experience.

Thanks Shree. This shot in a place called Ramanagar which is about 40 miles from Bangalore :).
