Blue tailed bee-eater ( Merops philippinus )This was shot in Lingambudhi lake on my trip to Mysore. After birding we were returning back, just as when we saw these birds in quite a few numbers. We waited for about 30 minutes for it to perch on a good place and it paid off! The name says it all - "Blue tailed".
