Green Bee-eater ( Merops orientalis )

Made this image early September. Somehow I missed this from posting it here. It was a cool morning and we decided to do some birding. Though this is a very common bird in India, the light was great on this day and I could clearly visualize an opportunity to make an image of slightly higher quality with a beautiful dark background!

Note: If the monitor is not well calibrated, you won't be able to appreciate the image much.
